ملخص البحث:
تقوم الأوطان بسواعد أبنائها مقولة مسلم بها,إنما عمادة هذه السواعد ومصدرقوتها وعنوان مستقبلها هي الفئة الشابة و ليس هنالك غيرباب العلم والتعلم لصقل هذه الفئة وتنمية قدراتها لتحصين الوطن و تحقيق التنمية فيه,إنطلاقاَ من أهمية الإستثمار الصحيح و الفعال للقدرات العلمية لدى فئة الشباب التي تتأثّر بعوامل عديدة التي لاحظناها مع الكثير من الطالب والتي تتجلى في الحيرة و الفشل في إختيار إختصاص جامعي يتناسب مع قدراتهم وإمكاناتهم وطموحاتهم من هنا كان موضوع البحث حول المحددات الإجتماعية و العوامل المؤثرة في إختيار الطالب للتخصص الجامعي.
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرّف على دور القيم و العوامل الاجتماعية التي تعترض و تواجه اختيار الطالب للتخصص الجامعي في الجامعة اللبنانية وجامعة الآداب والعلوم والتكنلوجيا، تعرّف ما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0،05) بين متوسطات إجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول دور المحددات الاجتماعية في اختيار الطالب للتخصص الجامعي.
ومن أجل تحقيق الهدف تمّ استخدام المنهج الوصفي، من خلال إعداد استبانة جرى تطبيقها على (623) طالباً وطالبةً بعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها.
أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنّ العوامل الاجتماعية ليست وحدها المحدد الأساسي في اختيار الطالب لاختصاصه الجامعي، وإنّما هناك محددات أخرى اجتماعية، اقتصادية، شخصية، أكاديمية، كما بينت وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين جندر الطالب وبين اختياره لاختصاصه الجامعي. كما توصلت الى الدراسة أن هنالك تغير في المزاج العام في تبعية الأبناء لأبائهم من حيث تأثير رغبة ألأهل على الأبناء كما أن المستوى التعليمي للأهل ليس ذات تأثير يعتد.
في السياق ذاته يبدو أن الطلاب كانوا قد حددو إتجهاتهم في المرحلة الثانوية بشكل أولي وهذا يعطيهم حرية مسبقة للتوجيه العلمي قبل الوصول الى الجامعة.
كما ظهر تقصير جلي في عملية الإرشاد والتوجيه العلمي لذلك كان أثره ضعيفاً في النتائج,
حيث أظهرت الدراسة نسبة تقارب ال (%20) من الطلاب قد هدر عام دراسي فقط لأنه لم يحسن ألإختيار أو متردد .

Research Summary
The pillars of these platforms and the source of their strength and the title of their future is among the young group and there is nothing but science and learning to refine this class and develop its capacities to fortify the country and achieve development in it. Based on the importance of investing the correct and effective scientific capabilities of Young group which is affected by many factors, that we have observed with many students are reflected in the confusion and failure to choose a university specialty that commensurate with their abilities, potentials and their ambitions, from here was the subject of research on the social determinants and factors affecting the student’s choice of university specialization.
This study aims to identify the role of social factors in the student’s choice of university specialization in Lebanese university, and Art Sciences and Technology University to determine whether there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the averages of the responses of the study sample individuals about the role of social determinants in the student’s choice of university specialization.
In order to achieve the goal, the descriptive analytical method was used, by preparing a questionnaire that was applied to (623) male and female students after ensuring their honesty and consistency.
The results of the study showed that social factors are not the only primary determinant in a student’s choice of his university specialization, but there are other social, economic, personal, and academic determinants, and there is a statistically significant relationship between the student’s gender and his choice of his university specialization.
– The study found that there is a change in mood in the subordination of children to their parents in terms of the influence of the desire of the parents on children and the educational level of parents is not significant impact.
– In the same context it seems that students had identified their orientation in the secondary stage initially and this gives them the freedom to advance scientific guidance before reaching the university.
– There was a clear failure in the process of scientific guidance and guidance, so it had a weak effect on the results.
– The study showed that nearly 20% of students had wasted a school year only because they are hesitant or did not improve choice.
